More DLP Vendors You've Never Heard Of
Friday, May 28, 2010 at 6:18PM As always, there are "DLP" vendors who come and go. Or maybe more accurately, vendors who determine over time that their offering is not really data loss prevention. This will be a running post of vendors I come across who claim to offer DLP. The question is, of course, which definition of DLP are they using?
Here are a few that I've come across recently in some of the LinkedIn DLP groups:
- Perimetrix - www.perimetrix.com. This is a Moscow-based company with a list of products I haven't had the time to wade through. It's no wonder the marketplace continues to be confused over DLP offerings.
- InDorse Technologies - www.indorse-tech.com. I came across them in DLP Forum on LinkedIn... "advanced file assurance and context-based enforcement"
- Secure Islands - www.secureislands.com. A few of their team are very active in the DLP Forum on LinkedIn.
I invite representatives of these companies to provide some brief response explaining their solutions and how they approach DLP. Also, I'm interested to know if they consider themselves competitors to the established DLP players.
